Apo Reef – Country’s Unparalleled Paradise


Touring in the Occidental Mindoro area? If it’s your first time, visiting the well-known Apo Reef will give you a refreshing and inspiring day. This is a series of coral reefs with a range of approximately 34 kilometers in length along the water areas of Occidental Mindoro. This is one of the country’s pride because it’s acknowledged as the second most largest contiguous coral reef in the world. Of course, if it’s second internationally, it’s the largest in national standing. Because of its amusing and stunning beauty, the reef was also considered as a National Park.

WWF, together with its recent national ambassadors, Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez, are financially supporting the reef’s conservation through the donations given by people who care for the nature. Just think about this, if all people have the heart for preserving the nature’s beauty, the Philippines would be a happier and richer country, right?
