Take Action
Helping has been one of the taboo topics nowadays. Why, because of the world’s economic constraints which affected many people, helping other seem to be that difficult. On the bright side, many people are still extending their own little ways of helping despite having their own financial problems. It’s nice to know that there are still people like these nowadays. The World Wildlife Fund is thanking every individual who are setting their hearts in helping the wild animals live freely and safely. This organization is just one of the many organizations that have the same advocacy. WWF serve as the extention for the people to provide their help in many ways.
Do you have a heart for wild animals being deprived of their habitats, being caged or abused by some people? Then it’s time to do something and be a part of saving these animals! If you are hesitant, just remember this: You don’t need to have millions just to help. There are a lot of ways to show your concern and passion for animal welfare. Just to give you an idea, here are some of the ways for you to take action in the nearest possible time:
Donate Online – Many peple think that a single peso will not bring much of a help to someone of something. That is a misconception. No matter how big or small the amount you gave in WWF, as long as your heart tells you that you really want to extend your deepest sympathy through donating, then that is one great act. There are a lot of means in donating and the most common way of giving financial support is through online donation. If you have a credit card of other cards recognized internationally, then helping is just a few clicks away.
Corporate Connections – Are you on the peak of your business right now? Do you just feel that you should give back by donating financial support to animal welfare organizations? You can always partner with WWF and give a pledge. The WWF has a lot of affiliated companies, all of which are supporting the organization’s advocacy. If you’re just too blessed in your firm right now, a small amount of donation won’t affect your business’ finances.
Be a Volunteer – There is no standard or requirement when it comes to giving help. It doesn’t matter if you think that you’re not skilled, active or capable enough of becoming a volunteer in WWF. As long as your heart desires to help through becoming a volunteer, that is without any pay, you’re most welcome in this organization. Even better, you will surely learn from your training and it will surely mold you into a better human being. Who knows, you might be an environmentalist someday and help in changing the lives of many people and animals as well!
Spread the Word – If you can’t become a volunteer, don’t have the money or business to donate a few amount of money, there’s still a way to become part of WWF’s advocacy. Well, you can spread the word! Internet will probably be the best medium that you can use. Through this vast virtual world, you can write blogs, post status on social networking sites and join forums that tackle about animal welfare! Telling people about the organizations’ aim and the wild animals’ threatened situation might open people’s eyes. You may not be able to pursue a lot of people, but at least you’ve done your part, right?
Just always have in mind that if you really want to help, you will find thousands of ways to do it. The examples listed above might not be enough but if you do an effort to help the WWF carry its message to everyone, the world would be a happier place.
